Bowlarama Bathurst: A Community Hub for All Ages

For nearly two decades, Bowlarama Bathurst has been more than just a bowling alley. It’s become a community hub where families, friends, and people of all ages gather to have fun, stay active, and connect. At the heart of it all is a team dedicated to keeping the center fresh, exciting, and accessible.

Bowlarama manager, Lynn Vienneau, has been with the company for almost 20 years, serving in a management role for the last eight. She has witnessed firsthand how the facility has grown and evolved, and how it continues to serve as a cornerstone for recreation in the Bathurst area.

Bowlarama offers leagues that welcome all skill levels and age groups. Senior leagues begin in late August and run until May, providing daytime activity for older adults. In the evenings, players can join mixed leagues, doubles leagues, and ladies’ leagues.

Youth bowling has seen participation decline in recent years. Still, the team is working hard to revive it, with Saturday morning sessions designed for children ages five to thirteen. Affordable pricing at just $10 per week with a modest $20 joining fee, makes it an easy entry point for families looking to get their kids involved in candlepin bowling. This begins in late September. You can get more information and consistent updates on their Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/BowlaramaBathurst

Bowlarama Bathurst isn’t just about bowling. Its arcade has become a major draw, filled with games that appeal to every age group. To keep things exciting, the lineup changes every six months. The arcade is especially popular for birthday parties, rainy days, and midweek fun. Every Wednesday, visitors can enjoy half-price gameplay, a deal that has proven to be one of the center’s busiest promotions.

One of Bowlarama Bathurst’s biggest successes in recent years is “Rock N’ Bowl,” held every Saturday night from 7 to 11 PM. Combining cosmic lights, music, and prize giveaways. This event has quickly become a weekend staple. At just $15 for four hours of entertainment, it offers great value.

Cosmic Bowling on Friday nights adds another layer of fun, with the second hour offered at half price. Thursdays bring yet another deal: $49 per lane from 9 PM until close, making group nights out both affordable and memorable.

After the pandemic slowed league participation, Bowlarama is seeing a resurgence in interest. Senior teams are growing again, and new faces are showing up for evening events. Between the leagues, arcade, food service, and themed nights, the center truly offers something for everyone.Open daily from 9 AM until late evening, Bowlarama Bathurst continues to stand as a family-friendly, affordable, and vibrant destination. As the manager puts it, “It’s a beautiful center, and we’re proud of it. Every day is different here, but it’s always exciting,” says Lynn.

We want to thank Lynn Vienneau and the whole Bowlorama Bathurst team for providing great entertainment for the region. If you’re looking to get out and join a league, this is the place.
