Thermalwood Canada's wood made it big at the 2013 NAMM Show in Anaheim, CA. Premier Guitar's Rebecca Dirks was there to have a look what Fender had for us.

Firstly, we see the Diamond Legend, designed by Yuriy Shishkov, which sold for 120,000$ - that's what you pay for a guitar with 377 diamonds! The neck was made with thermally modified wood which was cooked at our facilities in Bathurst, NB.

Following the double-neck feature, we see Dale Wilson's Roasted Telecaster. He explains that the wood was put through the oven and then turned into the beautiful butternut roasted look we see. We hear Dale saying "It [roasting the wood] strengthens the wood and makes it a lot more stable, and I think it looks beautiful too". The entire guitar, from body to neck, was made with curly maple we roasted here at Thermalwood Canada.

We are proud to have our high-quality wood used by Fender's Custom Shop's professionals, and we can't wait to see what they have in store for us in the coming years!
